In this blog post you will find a list of stone age themed chapter books for your tweens and teens. I think when studying any subject, especially subjects that have a human element central to them, fiction can bring it to life, helping readers connect emotionally with the topic.
When I first started to plan our home education year I wanted to find themed chapter books that I could assign either for quiet reading or audio / read aloud books that were suitable and interesting for my 10 and 12 year olds. I have made lists for our History and Geography topics and I will share these on the blog over the year.

Our history focus this year is Ancient History starting with the Stone Age; so my first task was to find age appropriate books set in The Stone Age. Read on for my pre-historic chapter book recommendations; some of which made it to our final cut and we read and others that we left for another time. Read to the end for our absolute favourite.
